EVIDENCE-BASED STRATEGIC INTERVENTION

I-PETP

ABOUT US

The Integrated Peer Education Traning Program, formerly the Peer Education Program for Alcohol & Drug Prevention among People in Liberia Project. The Integrated Peer Education Training Program is intended to sustain gains made during the implementation of the Peer Education Program funded by EU and supported by ECOWAS and UNODC. The Current Integrated Peer Education Training Program Project is an initiative of the Consolidated Youth for Peace & Development in Partnership with the West Africa Network of CSOs on Substance Abuse.

The program is a capacity-building initiative aimed at strengthening community-based structures to prevent drug abuse through evidence-based drug prevention and strategic intervention.

The primary goal of the program is to engage, educate and empower young leaders capable to address local drug abuse challenges through innovative, creative and from a well-informed background.

Twenty-five young persons will be recruited every three months as a cohort to go through an intensive in person and online training.
